The Game Awards have come to an end, and the highly acclaimed game Baldur’s Gate 3 has been crowned Game of the Year. Larian Studios’ Swen Vincke, dressed in full armor, graciously accepted the award. Among the tough contenders were games such as Alan Wake II, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Bros Wonder.

Besides winning Game of the Year, several other nominees were recognized in various categories. Alan Wake 2 took home the award for Best Narrative, Tears of the Kingdom won Best Action-Adventure Game, and Super Mario Bros Wonder received the accolade for Best Family Game.

Additionally, Baldur’s Gate 3 scooped up Best RPG, Best Multiplayer, and Best Community Support. Neil Newbon, the actor portraying companion Astarion in the game, was honored with the award for Best Performance.
